Godfrey, apprehended the suspect, Kabiru Abdullahi, 25, from Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, following credible digital and reconstructive intelligence.<br \/><br \/>Investigations revealed that on July 11, 2025, the victim boarded a commercial taxi that turned out to be operated by a one-chance gang. After demanding ransom from her family, the suspects allegedly murdered her and dumped her body along Alex Ekwueme Street, Jabi, where it was discovered the next day.<br \/><br \/>During interrogation, Abdullahi reportedly confessed to strangling the victim with a nylon bag after she bit his finger, explaining that the gang feared she might recognize them since they all lived in Dape village.<br \/><br \/>He also implicated Solomon Tanko, 35, who had earlier been arrested on October 8, 2025, at Life Camp for a related one-chance robbery and murder case.<br \/><br \/>Both suspects have confessed to the crime, and police have recovered a golden-coloured Toyota Camry (pencil light) used in the operation.<br \/><br \/>The FCT Commissioner of Police has directed that investigations be expanded to track down all remaining members of the syndicate.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a notorious member of a one-chance syndicate linked to the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old fuel attendant, Miss Grace Godwin, in Abuja.
