Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command\u2019s Rapid Response Squad have arrested two university students suspected to be members of a cult group in the early hours of Sunday.<\/p>\n
The RRS disclosed this in a statement on X.com on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The suspects, identified as Okey Bright, 21, also known as \u201cB in Fine Boy,\u201d and Daniel Prince, 22, also called, \u201cRugged Promotion,\u201d were reportedly apprehended around 4:00 a.m. as they returned from an annual confraternity conference at a hotel in Lekki.

The statement partly read, \u201cPreliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, joined the confraternity in 2024. He is a university student. Prince, who goes by the alias \u201cRugged Promotion\u201d, is a hairstylist and a university student.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir arrest was prompted by the suspicious movement of one of the suspects, Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn Prince\u2019s bag, the operatives discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.\u201d<\/p>\n
The suspects have reportedly been transferred to the Commissioner of Police\u2019s Special Squad for further investigation.<\/p>\n
