Lagos State Police Command has arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing a 16-year-old boy multiple times in Amosu Street, Ijegun, Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening, February 26, 2026.
The victim’s cousin, Febechi, disclosed this in series of post via her X handle.
Photos she post showed three cuts on the right side of the boy\u2019s face, including one near his eye, three deep wounds on the right side of his chest near the shoulder and another on his forearm, with blood visible across his body.
According to Febechi, the suspect attacked her cousin and his mother during a confrontation after the boy tried to correct the suspect\u2019s child.
\u201cI am heateddd!!! A grown woman st@bbed my 16 y\/o brother in multiple places because he tried to correct her child, then stabbed his mum when she tried to confront her. Please, I need help getting justice for him. Who do I tag aside from @PoliceNG and @Lagosdsva?\u201d she wrote.
“Apparently, the police unit in their area said they can\u2019t make arrests this evening, until tomorrow morning. Why would someone st@b you when confronting a child? Wetin do cane or koboko?\u201d
She added that the boy\u2019s parents and family members had resolved to pursue justice through lawful means.

Sorry for the confusion\u2014I should have been more concise with the language. He\u2019s my younger cousin, a child of one of my older cousins\u2014it\u2019s more complex explaining this way, so \u2018brother\u2019 is simpler. He\u2019s a quiet, gentle boy. \u201cThey\u2019re neighbors, and he\u2019s basically a child too. He was just looking out for the smaller kids like a bigger sibling would. I wish he had left her child and focused on his own siblings. My older family members and the boy\u2019s parents want to handle this legally.”
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed to punch on Sunday that the suspect had been arrested and the boy was receiving treatment.
