{"id":7952,"date":"2026-07-30T07:41:48","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T07:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.securityfocus.ng\/?p=7952"},"modified":"2026-07-30T07:41:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T07:41:48","slug":"fct-police-arrest-forgery-fraud-suspects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.securityfocus.ng\/index.php\/2026\/07\/30\/fct-police-arrest-forgery-fraud-suspects\/","title":{"rendered":"FCT Police arrest forgery, fraud suspects"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command has arrested members of a notorious fraud syndicate allegedly involved in forgery, impersonation, and obtaining money by false pretence.<br \/><br \/>SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer of the command disclosed this in a statement she issued on Wednesday.<br \/><br \/>She explained that the arrests followed a complaint received by the Command regarding the fraudulent activities of suspects, who falsely presented themselves as legitimate business operators under the name and style of AM-PM Global Network LTD.<br \/><br \/>She said the suspects were using the guise of business owners to deceive and defraud unsuspecting members of the public.<br \/><br \/>The PPRO identified the suspects as one Yahaya Abdul an indigene of Kogi State and Christopher Erin from Akwa Ibom State.<br \/><br \/>According to her, preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects are members of an \u201corganized criminal syndicate specializing in the forgery of official documents, impersonation, and sophisticated fraudulent schemes designed to deceive unsuspecting victims and unlawfully obtain financial benefits.<br \/><br \/>\u201cFurther investigations are ongoing to dismantle the entire syndicate.
