During the altercation, Ganiu allegedly attacked Modinat with a piece of broken glass, injuring her hand. In response, Modinat was said to have retaliated by stabbing him in the chest with a broken bottle.<br \/><br \/>The victim was pronounced dead from the resulting injury.<br \/><br \/>Police operatives arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, collecting forensic evidence and photographing both the area and the deceased.
