The Kano State Police Command has handed over a recovered orange Vibe motor vehicle and an ash-coloured Haojue motorcycle to their rightful owners following intelligence-led operations.<\/p>\n
The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, the handover took place at the command headquarters in Bompai, Kano.<\/p>\n
He said the properties were returned after the police completed the necessary checks, verified the ownership documents and documented the process.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis handover is part of our ongoing efforts to recover stolen properties and ensure they are returned to their rightful owners,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n
Kiyawa said the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the police for recovering their properties, commending the officers for their professionalism and commitment to duty.<\/p>\n
The owners also described the recovery and prompt return of their properties as evidence of a police service that responds to the needs of the public.<\/p>\n
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, congratulated the beneficiaries and said the exercise aligned with the policing vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu.<\/p>\n
He said the vision emphasised the protection of lives and property, the return of stolen items to victims, and the promotion of public trust through transparent and accountable policing.<\/p>\n
Bakori assured residents that the command would continue to work towards making Kano State safe and secure.<\/p>\n
