{"id":949,"date":"2022-07-29T13:42:07","date_gmt":"2022-07-29T13:42:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.securityfocus.ng\/index.php\/2022\/07\/29\/2-students-stabbed-by-mates-over-football-argument-in-bauchi\/"},"modified":"2022-07-29T13:42:07","modified_gmt":"2022-07-29T13:42:07","slug":"2-students-stabbed-by-mates-over-football-argument-in-bauchi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.securityfocus.ng\/index.php\/2022\/07\/29\/2-students-stabbed-by-mates-over-football-argument-in-bauchi\/","title":{"rendered":"2 Students Stabbed By Mates Over Football Argument In Bauchi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>The Bauchi State Police Command, on Thursday, confirmed the arrest of an SS3 student of Government Secondary School, Games Village in Bauchi metropolis for allegedly stabbing two other students.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It ws gathered that an argument over European football led to the stabbing of the two students.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reports have it that they are now receiving treatment at a health facility in Bauchi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The students had engaged in a serious argument over which clubs they are supporting before it degenerated and one of them brought out a knife and stabbed the two students, one on the chest and the other one on his thigh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While confirming the incident through phone conversation, the PPRO of the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Ahmed Wakili said that, \u201ctoday (Thursday) at about 16.45hrs, the Police Patrol team of the Command patrolling along Games Village cited a group of students of Government Secondary School, Games Village fighting among themselves.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn enquiry, it was discovered that one Usman Suleiman Jahun, aka Jan Gashi, 18 years old, SS3 student, conspired with 2 others who are now at large, attacked and stabbed their colleagues with dangerous weapons\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Ahmed Wakili, among the people they stabbed are one Ibrahim Abdullahi who was stabbed on the chest and one Isamil Abubakar who was stabbed on his right thigh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Police officers that were on patrol quickly rushed the victims to Ganjuwa PHC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoreover, the Command is intensifying more efforts to arrest the fleeing 2 suspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Commissioner of Police, Umar Mamman Sanda has directed that the case be transferred to the SCID for further investigation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The police in Kano State have confirmed the arrest of 128 suspected thugs (Yandaba) during the Eid-El Fitr celebration across the five Emirates of the<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":950,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[8],"class_list":["post-949","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized","tag-instagram"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.4 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
