Troops arrest terrorist’s wife in Zamfara, recover petrol

Troops of 1 Brigade have arrested a woman suspected to be aiding terrorists in Kanoma town, Zamfara State.

Identified as Fatima Isah Ile, she was apprehended while hiding in an uncompleted building on the outskirts of the town, where she allegedly lured children into buying petroleum products for her.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that investigations revealed that she is the wife of a notorious terrorist, Isah Ile. Troops recovered three jerricans of petrol during the operation.


The suspect has since been handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS) for further investigation.
