Police Arraign Two in Nasarawa Over Illegal Possession of Knockouts, Fireworks

Two suspects have been arrested and arraigned before a court in Nasarawa State by the Nasarawa state police command for allegedly possessing banned knockouts and fireworks.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, speaking to newsmen, disclosed that the suspects, whose identities were withheld, were arrested in Keffi and charged to court.

According to the police, the arrests were part of ongoing enforcement efforts to curb the use and circulation of prohibited explosive materials, particularly during the festive period.


The command reiterated its warning against the sale, possession, and use of knockouts and fireworks, noting that offenders would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
