The arrest, which was made on Sunday evening in Rimaye Village, Bichi Local Government Area, was the result of credible information provided by a vigilant member of the public who reported the suspicious movement of three men dressed in military uniforms and riding on a motorcycle.

Acting swiftly on the intelligence, police operatives were immediately deployed to the area. On sighting the officers, the three suspects attempted to flee. While two escaped into nearby surroundings, one of them, identified as Muhammad Isa, 28, of Dan Dinshe, Yamma Quarters in Dala Local Government Area, was apprehended after a brief chase.
