Police declare two men wanted over murder of woman in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has declared two men wanted in connection with the alleged m8rder of a woman in Ikoyi area of the state.

The command disclosed this in separate bulletins issued on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The command said the suspects identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado,32, and Ajibola Obateru, 33, allegedly conspired with others to attack the victim, k!lled her and took away her body and personal belongings.

According to the bulletins, the suspects conspired with others to attack the victim, allegedly k!lled her and made away with her body to an unknown.

Police gave Alagbado’s description as: “Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 32, Height: Average, Face: Oval, Nose: Wide, Mouth: Long Wide, Lips: Medium, Eyes Colour: White, Complexion: Dark Colour, Chin: Round, Hair: Normal, Forehead: Smooth, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”

Police gave Obateru’s description as: “Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 33, Height: 5.9ft, Build: Thin, Face: Oval, Nose: Long, Mouth: Small, Lips: Thin, Eyes Colour: Black, Complexion: Fair, Chin: Pointed, Hair: Black Thick, Head: High, Forehead: High, Habits and Mannerisms: Appear Gentle, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”

The command urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects to report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
