Police releases Toyota Starlet for claim in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has alerted members of the public to an abandoned Toyota Starlet car that it recovered.

The Command said in a public notice on Tuesday that its operatives uncovered the vehicle during an investigation sometime in April 2024.

“The vehicle is a Toyota Starlet with a fake number plate, JMT 253 RL,” the Command stated.

The notice, passed to newsmen by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, calls on any member of the public with evidence of ownership to come forward and claim the car.

The notice indicated that responses were expected from the Fufore Local Government Area, hence the advice that those whose motor vehicle was either stolen or missing should report to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Malabu, Fufore Local Government Area, with original documents and proof of ownership to claim it.
