Two people were confirmed dead and one lady tortured in an attack by suspected herdsmen on Ngban, a settlement between Daudu and Yelwata of Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
The two victïms of of the sad incident are: Terkimbir Iorhen Igbawua and Mlumun Igbawua.
The incident was confirmed by the Chairman of Guma LGA, Hon. Maurice Orwough who visited the scene.
Orwough took the tortured lady who regained freedom from her abductors to the hospital.
He also directed the Local Government Security Secretary to release funds for the burial of the victims slated for Sunday.
He assured the people that in no distance time, the crises would be a thing of the past.
Orwough was accompanied to the scene by the Council Chairman of Ukum, Hon. Jonathan Modi, Council Chairman of Buruku, Hon. Raymond Zege and PSA to Benue Governor on Protocol and Wardrobe, Hon. Emmanuel Iorbee.
