Abia State Police Command has recovered a stolen Toyota Highlander Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) with registration number: BRR667RM.
The Command also nabbed one Emeka Edwin Chukwuma, a native of Umuchu, Aguata LGA of Anambra State in connection with the crime.
The development was made known by the Abia State Police Command in a statement signed by DSP Maureen Chinaka, the Public Public Relations Officer on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa.
Chinaka said that the vehicle was recovered on 22/08/2025 by the Scorpion Squad of the Command.
She said that the complainant had been contacted, adding that investigation was still ongoing in the matter.
She said that furtherance to investigations into a case of a stolen vehicle reported in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, in 2022, but suspected to have been moved to Abia State, the Scorpion Squad of the Command leveraged on credible and actionable intelligence to recover the Toyota Highlander SUV.
