Kwara Insecurity Deepens As Bandits Kidnap Three Family Members

Gunmen believed to be bandits have kidnapped three members of a family in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The family were said to have been abducted while they were returning from a condolence visit on Sunday, Vanguard reports.

The report claimed that local sources who spoke anonymously said the victims were abducted around 7:00 am and hailed from Agboro community.


The victims were identified as Abiodun Abidemi and Abiodun Olumide, brothers of the deceased, and Ayomide Moses, the son of the deceased.

However, the state Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, denied knowledge of the incident, saying “I am not aware.”
