2026 National Police Day: IGP Disu Leads Police Officers On Walkathon In Abuja

The 2026 National Police Day Walkathon was held in Abuja on Tuesday at the force headquarters.

Led by IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, the nationwide event was aimed at strengthening community partnerships and police-public trust with the theme “Together We Walk, Together We Secure.”

The event included community service, sanitization exercises, medical outreaches, and public awareness campaigns.

Interestingly, the exercise was open to senior police officers, rank-and-file personnel, and members of the public.

It is believed that the walkathon would not only foster closer ties between the police and the communities but also serve as a platform to promote awareness on collective responsibility in ensuring a safer society.
